Artist’s Reception: Erica Jane Huntzinger

Join us as we welcome the artwork of Erica Jane Huntzinger to the walls of the Sugar Maple. We’ve been following the work of Huntzinger for over 15 years and are impressed with the evolution of depth, color and content.

Erica will be present for the opening on 8/8, and her artwork will remain on the walls until mid-September.

In her own words:
“We are all connected through the immeasurable seas of ourselves and the infinite skies above. I create paintings through the intracacies and abstractions of feeling and thought. I call them: internal landscapes. They are a representation of this narrow link between conscious and unconscious experiences. All is considered influencing my work, like steeping tea.
I’ve been enamored by color since I was a child; daydreaming, coloring, layering and mixing.”

We too are completely enamored with Huntzinger’s grasp of color, the feelings provoked by these otherworldly creations, that, in person, will leave you with a sense of awe and grace.
